"Everything" - Michael Buble

I've decided to procrastinate doing homework and just blog instead. This last week has been filled with tons of fun. Last Sunday was Pi Day which meant lots of Pi parties. Even though I only had a little bit of pie I was so ready for it to be over. Way too many sweets. That night I was also told that my old bishop's wife had been diagnosed with cancer. She started chemo this week and I think so far so good.

On Tuesday my choir sang in a BYU devotional. If your heart so desires you can watch it here and go to the date Tuesday, March 16, 2010 and watch us sing. It's in the first 10 minutes. You can see me a couple of times which is exciting. But we didn't sound as good as we could have. But we will be having our end of the semester concert on April 13, 2010 in the Provo Tabernacle so that will be super exciting.

Wednesday was St. Patrick's day and nothing exciting happened besides that it was the first day that it was warm enough that I didn't need a jacket! Also, my friend Cameron flew to the Brazil MTC. He VISA barely made it in time. They thought he was going to have to come to Provo which would have been totally awesome. I would have tried to run into him at the temple or something. haha

Thursday was one of the most exciting days. This day went down in history. BYU Basketball made it past the first round of March Madness for the first time in 17 years! I know tons of people who got to watch the game in their classes. I watched the last part of the game on the computer. We went into double OT. I was freaking out I was so excited and we won! Fortunately I finished all my homework on Wed. so watching the game didn't put me too far behind on Thursday.

Friday was another exciting day. After the temple me, Hilary and Courtney decided to go heart-attacking. They did their previous and current bishop and I did my old bishop (the one that was mentioned earlier). We got all of the hearts cut out and written on and left on our way. It was pretty cold so we got all bundled up. Then we were bad and persuaded Rachel to leave her homework to come and join us. We did my bishop first and ran into no problems. The next house, not so much.

We pulled up to the house and thought they weren't home. So we proceeded up to the door and got about 6 hearts on before we heard a noise. Hilary said it was just her so we kept going. Then we heard a louder noise and we all just froze. Then the main light turned on in the house and we started running back to the car laughing. Their son had come and opened the door. We drove away down the street and waited about 2 minutes and then decided to go back and finish it. As soon as we pulled up again in front of their house the bishop and his wife opened the door to look at it so we booked it and decided to go to the next house.

We pulled on the street. This house was kind of tucked back so we were going to go send Rachel to assess the situation. As soon as we said that they pulled right into their driveway. We drove again and talked about what we wanted to do. We decided that we were going to go ahead and do it and if we got caught, then we got caught. Luckily we didn't and we put all the hearts up in the dark. We went back to the second house and finished it with no problems.

It was really cool to see all of their comments on facebook about it. It made me feel all happy that they enjoyed it because it was totally fun for us too. The 1st counselor in my bishop's ward even took pictures and put them up on facebook!
Now we only have 16 days left of classes. And this last weekend I passed the 1 month mark till my birthday which means less than a month till summer! I even got my first tan this weekend while I was doing my visiting teaching. Kaleen and I are having a competition to see who can get darker. So far I'm winning.
