"Catch A Wave" - Beach Boys

This weekend Brandon, his two friends and me went home (to vegas) for a day on the lake. It started out great! No wind, the water was super nice. Well when we started back the windy. I've never been on the lake when it's been that bad. Mom said it was like the ocean. But we had a good time nonetheless. I didn't put on sunscreen so I got a little burned but now it's Tuesday and it doesn't hurt at all and I'm not even red!

Now the three boys, Darren, Brandon and Kyle went on the two person tube. They actually stayed on longer than we thought they would.


On the way back, it was WAY rough. I was sitting on the side of the boat that seemed to be the direction the wind was blowing, so I was in the soak zone. I lasted about two minutes before I literally jumped to the middle of the boat and laid on the two semi-inflated tubes and had a pretty nice ride back :) I was lucky, whereas most other people have battle scars to show for how bad the ride was. But we had a great time!

So school has started and many things have happened:
-I have been locked out of the whole dorm building.
-I have been locked out of my room.
-I have been to the movies on a school night.
-I got to ride the elevator in the SWKT for a class.
-I have watched a movie in the JFSB on a projector on the REALLY big screen
-spent lots of time with my old roommate
-I have gotten an average of 8 hours of sleep each night
-Missed my first day of class...hahaha just kidding. My class was canceled. (But I didn't find out about that till the next day, so I thought that I really had missed it.)
-Finally unpacked...a week later
-I have been adopted into a another dorm.
-I have eaten a wrap for dinner...4 nights in a row? Those things are DANG good.
-Went to a regional conference saw Pres. Uchtdorf and Pres. Packer in the Marriot
-I have stayed up on all my homework...for now
-I haven't been to the testing center yet!! yea!!
-Aced my first quiz

That's all I can pretty much think of right now. I know I have done other stuff, like gone to class and such but now time for pictures!

I thought they were students that had sneaked up there and I totally wanted proof of it. Come to find out it was maintenance, so they're allowed to be up there.

My roommate, she is never like this. Seriously, we mostly just chill. One night we just got a little crazy.

"We are the Champions" - Queen

So I thought I bought a sports pass to go to all the football games, I guess it never went through. So I watched the game at Legend's Grill. It's where are the sports buffs hang out. So it was way fun watching it there too.

BYU at home played UCLA. It was supposed to be the hardest home game.

They scored their first touchdown within the first 15 min of the game.

By half time the score was 42-0.

By the end of the game...59-0.

I LOVE MY SCHOOL!!!! XD

"99 Problems" - Jay Z and Linkin Park

While I was home for my break I decided that I wanted to cut and highlight my hair. Well since mom had been sick we decided to do it a different way then we had before but we ran into a couple of problems along the way.

This is what my hair looked like before we started anything.

So this is where it all started. The color clumped and didn't highlight. Needless to say, I came out looking like a leopard.

But a very cute leopard ;)

or maybe a giraffe? Hmm ok so the thing is, my hair was spotted to say the least. :D Let it be known I was really that upset. Mom was a little stressed though.

We didn't know what to do. Since it was friday and I was supposed to be leaving on monday. So we decided to go back and get some more dye to fix my hair. We decided to use a cap this time but we couldn't choose a color. So we ended up buying the same thing that we had originally used so we had the same color and a cheapy one so we could use the cap. It really helped, but it didn't highlight. It pretty much just colored all my hair. the next few pics all look a little different because of the lighting, but the point is my hair went REALLY blonde!

Yup this is pretty much the color of my hair. But now that it has been about two weeks the yellowness has really toned down and it just looks blonde. So although we ran into a few problems, no one got hurt. After all it's just hair!
