"Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!" - Cyndi Lauper

This last week mom was able to take us girls to Lake Powell to stay on some friends' houseboat. We went with three other familes and we had a great time. We kept the houseboat in the slip but there was a cove close by that we went to every day to play. we had a rocket, knee boards, intertubes, wakeboards, swimming, sea doos and jet skis. The younger kids also had fun going down the slide of the houseboat next to us. One night we went to a beach and had a campfire. I don't think I had seen so many stars before in my life! The milky way was so pretty! I think I saw a total of 5 shooting stars and we got to watch the moon rise over the lake every night. Another night we went into town and saw Mama Mia. It seemed short but WAY cleaner than the show production. I have to admit it was better life and the dancing and costumes were better on stage but I was very impressed. We had an awesome time, and got some great tans and they said we were so good they wanted to bring us back! :D Here are a few [understatment] pictures. Unfortunatley I was only a few pictures off of beating Matt and Jayna's recent post with fam reunion pics.

Getting everything hooked up. We drove with the owners of the houseboat and we double towed their and our jet skis.

We stopped at In-N-Out in St. George to get some dinner!

I think I am gonna need a pedicure before I go back to school. ;)

The new love of my life: Bumblebee. Went from 0-60 in 5 sec. the boys said they got it to 70. [sigh] I am really going to miss her.

Chillin in the cove

Mom wakeboarding!

Seth and Ross. The only boys on the houseboat. They are deacons and I thought they were going to be the most annoying poeple ever. However, they turned out to be SO much fun. They kept me and mom entertained one afternoon while we were in the cove. Mom said Seth had developed a crush on me, but whatever.

The sunset

Ya...let me explain this one. We were going to the beach to have a bonfire. I drove in the car with Michelle and 3 of the girls and we were going to meet everyone else who were coming over on the jet skis. Well they didn't seem to have seen us. (I don't know how you can't see people standing on the beach waving their arms and shouting at you, but whatever.) This was about probably an hour and a half later we were there that they finally found us. But because the sun was going down they had to take the jet skis back to the houseboat and then drive back over to the beach. It was kind of a long night, but fun!

I wish I could have gotten a picture of this houseboat that was there. It has been featured on the Travel Channel and has glass windows all the way around. It was way sweet.

We had an awesome adventure. I don't remember there being any major problems. Meghan got sick the last night but is home and recovering well. I think we are all still swaying a bit but it was totally worth it!

"Home" - Daughtry

well after being gone for a week I have a lot to catch up. Things I should have posted before I left. Oh well. There's no time like the present.

Well I finished my finals and now I am home! Everything went well. I didn't fail any of them. :) Rachel came and hung out with me my last night of the dorms because my roommate had already moved out. I think it was a little scary to see what she saw but she survived. :) I also got to go to Sheldon's graduation party, thanks for letting me come! It was awesome. After I got home friday I went to my friend's Lacey's house and got to see most of my friends which was way cool!

"Crazy" - Aerosmith

I thought I would be a crazy college student and stay up till 3:30 studying and then wake up at 6 to get ready to gake my test at 8.

Ok so I'm not that crazy :) I let myself sleep until 8 and then got up and took my test. I just now have Book of Mormon left for today. And then American Heritage tomorrow. bleh.

Only 2 more days and then I am home!!!

Playing cards, I just want to point out that it is really hard to play cards when they don't know what a club or a spade is. "Is that the black upside-down heart on a stick?"

"Ye Elders of Israel" - Hymn #319

So Dallin said not to "try" to tell mom because she might freak. So if she just happens to read my blog then I guess she will find out...Just promise not to say anything to Dallin!

He sent me this picture in my email today:
It's a rooster in their shower. The rooster isn't the scary part, it is the fact that he uses a tarp as a shower!

Then he put this quote at the bottom of the email:
Moco cha´aj ta li be cui cau la ch´ol.
(If your heart is strong the way is easy ^_^)

I think I am going to adopt this quote.

"For the Beauty of the Earth" - Hymn #92

On Saturday we went on a little hike at Cascade Springs with Elaine and Sheldon. We saw some fish, some bacteria invested water, plants, and lots of plaques which of course we just had to stop and read.
