This last weekend I decided to surprise Kaleen and Meghan and go home for the weekend! I took Rachel with me and we had the best time. Singing our hearts desire, pretending that we were actually riding rides at Disneyland, quoting our favorite youtube videos, and that was just the car ride!
We got to see Kaleen dance at the homecoming assembly and football and she did great! We spent a lot of the weekend playing Wii and hanging out. We got to ride in a limo, went to the mall, got frozen yogurt and we got to go to the temple as a whole family!! I'm so glad I got to go home! Rachel made the comment that the times we laugh the hardest is when we are in my kitchen. I don't know how that happens but it's true! So many good memories. Thanks mom and dad for letting me come down! I hope the girlies had fun too.

"Sing Forth With Joy" - BYU University Chorale
I would just like everyone to share in the same joy as I am. I got a 100% on my Anatomy test today. I walked down those stairs, looked up at the tv screen and saw 100%, Perfect Score! I could hardly contain my happiness and I had to keep myself from yelling out YES! There's no greater feeling to know that all those hours of studying actually paid off.
I'm still smiling. :)

"Bad Romance" - Lady GaGa
Today Rachel and I stopped by Dallin's apartment to get the car keys. I knocked on the door and his roommate said to come in. I asked if Dallin was there and another roommate walked out and yelled.
Roommate- "Dallin there are two hot girls here."
Dallin walked out and said, "That would be my sister."
Roommate - "Oh well there's a hot girl here."
Dallin - "And the other one is my cousin."

"Day of Rest" - Paul Cardall
These last 24 hours have been pretty awesome, well minus the fact that BYU lost to Air Force yesterday but I'll try to dwell on that. This weekend was a Stake/Regional conference. Last night was stake conference and our stake president had his mission president come and speak to us. He is like 93 and was totally hilarious. And the super cool part? He brought the only Book of Mormon that has ever been in space! It was his and he brought it to show us and it was totally awesome.
This morning was a regional conference that they broadcasted from the Marriot Center. I didn't know until they showed up, but President Packer and Elder Holland were in attendance today. After they came in and everyone sat down, the audience started talking a little bit and then all of a sudden Elder Holland stood up at the podium and told us that we needed to be quiet because the meeting started with President Packer walked in. Woo the place went quiet really fast. Steven E. Snow and Julie B. Beck also talked and it was really good! Then President Packer stood up. Let me just say that I have never seen President Packer that funny. He was cracking jokes like I've never seen. It was nice to see him out of his General Conference seriousness.
Tonight we had a CES Fireside and Elder Richard G. Scott talked. It was something that I had never seen before. He got up to start talking and then all of a sudden he just walked away from the podium and off to the side there was this couple sitting there and he started interviewing them. It was so sweet to hear him talk about his wife and children that had passed away. I had no idea about his children but he gave a really good talk about marriage.
So needless to say I'm getting pretty excited. I feel like I just experienced it this weekend after hearing 3 apostles and others but I'm looking forward to hear what they have to say next.

"Do or Die" - Papa Roach
I did it. I survived my first Anatomy lab. It wasn't at all what I was picturing it to be. It was a really small room on the main floor. I thought for sure when I walked in I was gonna die from the formaldehyde but luckily, thankfully, BYU doesn't use formaldehyde. So the room was stink free; however there were other things in the room that were just as disturbing. I'm trying to remove it from my memory. Today we only covered the skull and spine and now I have over 100 terms I need to have memorized before lab next week, not including all the other terms I'm learning in lecture. Tonight I am starting to feel the stress that all Anatomy students warn you about. Here's to the semester...and that I make it out alive.

"Mad World" - Adam Lambert
I went and saw yet another amazing Christopher Nolan film, Inception. I think my favorite part of the movie is the fact that I walked away with so many stinking questions that I think my head is going to explode. Rachel and I have discussed many things, one of them being to go see it again, and we have decided that it's not supposed to make sense. You aren't supposed to know everything or figure everything out; I like and hate that aspect at the same time. I'm glad it was as good as everyone said it was going to be. Now I can't wait to see the Divine Comedy spoof "Reception".I listened to the song Mad World right after we came out from the movie randomly and it just seems to be the epitome of what the movie is about. Now I love that song even more!
On another note it is now week two of classes. Having Monday off totally threw off my schedule. My classes are going really well. Some of them are slower than others and I find myself having to do Sudoku to keep me focused or else my mind wanders to Inception.
My roommates are totally awesome and we get along so great! We are all on the same page about cleaning, dishes and all that good stuff. We are at the same point friendship-wise that my last roommates were at in Winter semester. I'm sure I am going to have plenty of stories to tell.

"Begin Again" - Collbie Caillat
I have almost survived my first week of classes. this week has felt so dang long. Yesterday felt like it should have been Thursday. Magically though I am going to have a four day weekend because I don't have class on Friday.
I am taking Anatomy this semester. I have class once for two hours a week and lab once a week for two hours. Then they have reviews and open lab pretty much all day every day. I probably memorized 100 terms today and that's just for one chapter. By the midterm I will have probably at least 1,000 terms memorized. Thank goodness it's only memorization. Now I am tired, time for relaxation aka Thumbelina.
