"Remember When It Rained" - Josh Groban

A couple of weeks ago we were having some major storms come through. We got caught in one as we went to pick up Meghan. It was seriously such a strange experience to drive into a flash flood.

The clouds were super black and of course the pictures don't do it justice.

These clouds were super freaky. They looked like a combination of a tornado and death eater exhaust. This is what we saw as we were leaving to pick up Meghan. It takes less than 10 minutes to drive to the school and back home.
This is after we got home. If you can see the gutter the water is totally over flowing.

The mountains are supposed to be right there. Obviously you can't see them. We had just picked up Meghan and were on our way back. As we were driving down just a few minutes earlier we could see the mountains just fine.

I don't know if you can really tell but this is looking down the road. The silver looking stuff is the rain hitting the road. We were watching it coming at us, watching the road go wet.

This is right when we hit it. Obviously we can't see anything ahead of us. Zero visibility.
I was fortunate enough to take some video while we were driving so enjoy the experience of what flash floods are really like.
