"Ice Ice Baby" - Vanilla Ice

The last week (our first week of adventures in the frozen land of Utah) was quite full of wonderful family-filled activities.
We got to go to see the lights at Temple Square. I do say that going after Christmas the crowds were not near as bad, but still just as cold as I remember.
For New Years Eve Kaleen and I decided to play in the snow. Our neighbors across the street were setting off fireworks. Like the Disneyland kind you know? Never have I ever been that close to fireworks before and may I daresay never would I like to be that close again. But still super cool.

The girls and I saw Frozen. So adorable people. So adorable. Then as a fam we went and saw Savings Mr. Banks. AMAZING PEOPLE. Mary Poppins has always been very near and dear to my heart. I remember it being a frequent movie I watched when we would go to Grandma's house. Plus Julie Andrews = PERFECTION. Anyway that movie just was so emotional and heart felt and awesome. Go and see it.

We got to go to the Sacred Gifts exhibit at the Museum of Art at BYU. Oh my word if you haven't gone-go. And the iPad rental is totally worth it. I remember going when they had the Carl Bloch paintings in 2010 but this was so cool. My favorite painting was from Frans Schwartz. It's called Agony In the Garden and this just doesn't even do the justice. Love.

Here's to many, many more adventures to come!
