"Too Close" - Alex Clare

So I love the olympics. Seriously love them. Watch them every night. NBC has been a total fail this time around but that's for another blog post. With all those technological advances these days it kind of spoils all the results. Facebook, Twitter...yeah. So I've pretty much known all the results of the events before NBC decides to air it much, much later with much, much more commercial breaks. But today I'm fasting from any type of technology that might spoil results for tonight. TEAM PHELPS ALL THE WAY - CRUSH LOCHTE. *ahem*

All of that has very little to do with the post I originally planned. But back to the whole not knowing results thing...last night I was watching the women's relay in swimming. And for the first time I didn't know what was going to happen. So I'm excited, freaking out you know how it goes. All of a sudden there's a knock on the door. We yell twice for them to come in. Nothing. So then I open the door from the couch I was sitting on and all of a sudden there's people like singing Christmas songs and all I can do is look at the TV. Sorry people the olympics are on. So me and my roommate are watching the TV, Rachel is in the kitchen washing dishes and they just proceed to sing their carols. I have no idea what they sang bahaha.

So they finish, hand me a plate and say to return the plate once we're done...(why would you give random someones treats and then ask to return the plate?) So I look at the plate and they made rice crispy treats in the form of a wreath with what appeared to be drops of blood.

Just kidding it just appeared that way. We figured it was supposed to say Merry Christmas.
So we're sitting here finishing the match (we won by the way and by we I mean the team US of A. Go Amurica) and we're laughing about what just went down and Rachel said oh yeah so and so posted on the ward fb wall if anyone wanted to go caroling tonight. And I was like why did they pick our apartment. Then my roommate said probably because they think we're inactive. Oh man we got a good laugh out of that. Makes me think of the Singles Ward. "Hey we're having a ward BBQ thought you might like some chicken." hahahahahah

I'm still laughing.
