Once upon a time we were assigned in MCOM to “buy a coke for
a stranger” aka buy something for someone…supposedly a stranger. Well come
Saturday night I forgot that I had to do the assignment so…it turned into
buying ice cream for friend! We decided to go to the creamery and we stood
there for what seemed like to the creamery employee for forever. We had three
people ask us where different flavors were and we could tell them where they
were at. We finally decided to get Strawberry Sundae Crunch, amazing!!, and
then I offered to pay. And then friend tried to pay me back but I told her it was
for a homework assignment that I had to buy something for someone and she paid
me back anyway and told me it would be a good end to the story that she paid me
back. And that is the end of that story.
As for the creamery worker, he said two interesting things
while we were standing there. First, he asked why everyone liked Graham Canyon
so much and then he made a comment that in the next few years while we are
still at BYU we can try more flavors. Did he seriously think that we were
freshmen? Probably because he's from Texas.
