So I have been spending a lot this semester with this guy. He's Russian. You've probably heard of him. He's name is Sergei. Last name of Rachmaninoff. The time I would have spent with a boyfriend this semester I spent with him. I broke up with Rachmaninoff last night. I decided that I needed a break from him for a while. I don't know if it was a mutual agreement but it was for the best.
I picked to do a Rachmaninoff piece this semester without fully knowing what I was getting myself into.
Rachmaninoff has some crazy large hands and I have crazy small hands.
But somehow I was able to pull it off in my recital yesterday. I can't play the piece to tempo but I am pretty dang happy with how it turned out. If you wanna listen to it I uploaded it to youtube so watch it

I have loved being able to spend as much time as I have on the piano this semester. Even though I was doing it for a grade I'm lucky that I got to spend my time on something that I love.
