"Something Kinda Funny" - Spice Girls

For my job I type of reports of Mystery Shoppers. Sometimes I hate it but I get to work in bed so that definitely a plus.

Sometimes it can be really entertaining to see what and how people write. We laugh at the people who write like they're writing a novel or something. But one of the most interesting things is the difference between how males and females write and I can almost guess each time which one it is without having to check.

Males always use measurements like this building was 25 feet from the road facing northwest. Or when they use the term Hair Cuttery. Hair Cuttery? I don't even think "cuttery" is a word. I've never heard of that before...I've heard of a salon though. I had one guy commenting on the exact location of everything inside the branch, the artists of all the pictures and how the picture was hanging on the wall, the color and type of wood used for the flooring. Good grief people.

Women are much different. Women comment on the build, hairstyle, makeup of the representatives and what they are wearing. For example, "Today she had on the colors of peacock, teal, green, blue and purple, it was very pretty." Peacock? Is that a color? I know it's a bird. Or when they comment on the scents they smell while they're waiting like warm vanilla sugar or the sweet aroma of the coffee. This is no way is needed in their report.

I have plenty more examples, like stating how many steps it took and it what direction before they sit down, but I'll save those for a different time. People are so funny sometimes.
