I learned some interesting news today. University of Utah has suddenly switched from the Mountain West Conference to join the Pac-10. Colorado has also joined the Pac-10 from the Big 12. I am actually quite saddened by this news. Are they going to call it the Pac-12 now? I mean that just doesn't sound right at all. Well it would probably sound better if it was BYU joining instead. ;0)
Utah is our rival. What do you do when your rival changes conferences? Pick a new one? I guess we could always pick on our lesser rival, Utah State. But what about the Holy War? It's the biggest game for us every year! And now it will be no more after this season. So many traditions will be gone, lost forever. So I guess we better hit them hard this year and send them out with a bang. Maybe they're leaving because they were offended by what Max Hall said after the last Holy War. [smirk] I mean come on, we're rivals we're supposed to hate each other! I am still so sad that I missed that game. I guess I'll never get to go to a BYU- U of U game. Sad day.
